We are well into another season of quilting classes and everyone is having a lot of fun creating new projects, finishing old ones and learning lots of new techniques. Dyane did a Fabric Post Card class and due to demand has put together another class in november. See the november page for the info. The shelves are packed with lots of new fabrics and there are some beautiful prints that are coming out. Donna and the girls have made lots of displays and samples for you to see the new fabrics, so be sure to stop by and have a "feel". If you are in the Christmas mode, now is the time to pick up your Christmas prints while the selection is still good. There are panels, prints for place mats and runners and of course the good old basics for everything. The 2009 calendars are also here including a really neat Thimbleberries one, keeping in mind, no mattetr what calendar, there are still only 12 months in a year.
The new Pfaff long arm Quilt Expression is here and is it ever a beautiful machine. Just when you though you'd seen the best, along comes another "best".
Dyane, Vivienne and Linda have created a display window that has been getting a lot of favorable comments. It's hard to hold these girls down.
What a success the 30 Hour Quilt Marathon was. Over $12,500 was raised. If I can figure out an easy way to post the pictures, I will, other than that, I will have a slideshow going on the computer at the store if you'd like to see some of the pictures we took during the 30 hours. Thank you to all involved.
