Gail is back with another ‘Introduction to Quilting’ set of four classes. Join us Wednesday mornings 9:30 – 12:30 starting May 29th, or Saturday mornings 9:30 – 12:30 starting June 1.  This short class in basic quilt making will cover appliqué, piecing techniques plus a quick, easy paper pieced block. Your fully finished project will be a small wall hanging or table topper.  Tons of information, and lots of fun. Sign up early.

We have a unique ruler in the store, called ‘Straight out of Line’. That sounds like an oxymoron, but watch this short video and find out how to create four patch blocks with the illusion of curves.  It is as easy as pie and the results are intriguing – why does it look like curves when you simply sew straight seams?

Pfaff has revamped a few of the machines in their line-up and added a new light weight machine which will be great to take to classes. We are looking forward to seeing you at some of the area quilt shows that are coming up. The weekend of May 4th and 5th we will be in Napanee and then Ottawa at the R/A Centre for Mother's Day weekend.
