Come and learn the new easy way to applique using Apliquick rods and interfacing while making this monogram table runner. Each piece is prepared using the Apliquick method of using two rods to hold and accurately fold the fabric over the shapes interfacing and glue the fold in place. With this method you will get great smooth edges and perfect points without having to use your needle to turn the fabric under. Once pieces are prepared you can choose to machine or hand applique the tablerunner. Teacher: Paige Dickey

Would you like to make a paper pieced quilt? This table topper is not a huge project, so you won't have time to be bored; there are just enough paper-pieced blocks to build your confidence. With thirteen 4-inch blocks, your finished accent quilt will be 24 x 30 ? inches. There will be pre-cutting, so you will be prepared to make the blocks in the first class, and the on-point setting with borders and creative quilting in the last class. First of all, your sewing machine needs to be in good working order and you will need to bring your sewing machine manual and accessories to the class. This class will provide a review of all the basic sewing machine features and components and include instruction to learn the following; straight stitching, zig-zag, button hole, zipper, decorative stitching, proper tension settings, needle usage based on material, and general cleaning and care of your machine.
