If your have tried foundation paper piecing before and thought “I’m never doing this again”, then come to this workshop and give it another go. You will build 4 identical blocks that come together to form a simple 4 pointed star. Whether you use it as a block in a sampler quilt or a pillow cover using leftover fabric from a finished quilt or as the main block of a new quilt, it will be a great addition to your block library. You can use up your stash and make it a scrappy star quilt or do a monochromatic piece with your favourite colour, the possibilities are up to you. Teacher: Sylvia Benvie

In the last couple of decades, there has been an explosion of books and videos to help in our quest to complete larger quilts from start to finish. In this "techniques" workshop, you will practice some methods that will cover the specifics of cutting, handling and maneuvering a quilt on a small machine. Teacher: Sylvia Benvie
